Key Bank Usa - Received an offer in mail for $300 if open a qualifying account ! This offer is a joke !

When I took the card in with the code on it to get details on the offer, I was told I have to bring in the whole advert ! No where on the advert did it say you had to bring the whole thing in with you, it said to bring the card in with you which was a card you detached from the rest of the ad the size of a credit card ! They absolutely refused to honor the offer and wouldn't even talk to me about it ! I guess this is there way of not having pay the $300 ! If this is their form of customer service, then I am glad I didn't switch to them ! I will NEVER go into their bank again !!!

Go to ripoffreport and report it. They seem to care a bit if you report it there.

Or especially on their Facebook . I am victim to it as well. One keybank branch manager told an older lady that “I have to be careful what I give back in overdraft fees. I don't want to get my hand slapped.

They are watching me very carefully, I could lose my job. This is what happens when you count on funds available. No one knows how long pending is? Our available funds are different than your screen available funds.

Just because it says available doesn't necessarily mean it's available. Your online screen is different than mine. You made this mess, not Key. You are spending more than you are making (and the older lady is thinking “no you are taking more than I am making), fees-fees-and more fees.

The harder & longer we work the more money they took. They have left us unable to pay our leases.”

Poor performance of some employees of Key Bank far exceeds the imagination.

Not to steal your thunder, but last May they allowed my checking account to be drained by PayPal (itself hacked) despite a telephone conversation Sunday night and a personal visit to a branch Monday A.M.

They were informed of the exact amounts and "recipients" both times, Monday acknowledging Sunday's call in the records and no attempt to cash the fraudulent amounts ; Tuesday the account was overdrawn.

Then came a parade of paperwork and calls from Key ; the most annoying from an investigator who wasted 45 minutes of my life rehashing everything in an irritating manner and still not seeming to understand what happened.

Then there was the time we applied for a construction loan and they "lost" all of our personal information, financial statements, etc.

and a set of preliminary drawings.

I'll gripe no more ... but let's agree ; no more new accounts at Key.

Key Bank Usa - TERRIBLE BUSINESS

We had a small commercial loan(3000) with the bank that Key bought out. The business moved and tried several times to update address. spent a few hours in the bank and on the phone. Never received statements or any correspondence. Went to make the monthly payment and was told that the whole amount was due( No Notice). Was told by customer service that the loan matured and we need to renegotiate with the local loan officer. 1 visit and 4 phone messages and no return response from key bank. We want to pay this but cant pay the full amount. The account is now in collections and these are the moist rude and condescending people that I have ever dealt with. Not to mention they "accidentally clicked on the wrong button) 2 times and reopened a merchant account that was closed after the term ended overdrawing our account because of their monthly fees. Never got a straightforward answer as to why it happened but they did reverse most of the fees. Key bank has been the worst experience. I would never recommend their business to anyone. Its a shame because they tellers are wonderful( former First Niagara employees)
