Also received a call from their executive office from Julie Miller, who called me after 30-60 days from the letter of denial to receive the $500 promotion and only gave me the $300, to assure me I wouldn't receive the $500! Are you kidding me, this is like a sore that never goes away and she wanted to talk to me even after her letter of denial, why?
I even explained to her I have ptsd, and she just kept on talking, she said I waved the fees for early termination, I said your branch had to open another account to fix the $300 promotion I wouldn't pay any fees anyway, kept talking I hung up!
Very SICKENING ways to handle such an issue, I received your answer, please leave me alone you cheating suck from the poor bank! If I had a lot of money you would have never talked to me like that...

4 29 2019 This is a reply to Key Bank’s letter sent on 4 25 2019 and second complaint as well as the answer to their letter dated. I opened my Promotional $500 Checking account with KeyBank on 2 27 2019 as required by the attached documentation and expiration date of 3 8 2019 as stated on the document.
When I heard other customers, who opened there account through the same online portal received the promotion code for a $300 I Immediately got on the phone to make sure my promotional code was correct for the $500 Code RETQ0119. At that time I was even less pleased to find out found out it was not for the $500, but also not for the $300 but $200 Promotional code and told them at the time I had clicked on the $500 promo with the correct code of RETQ0119 as well as the online document published at the time, they acknowledged the correct code for the $500 promo was RETQ0119 but could not change it in their system. I was given several numbers to call and correct this amount again from $200 to $500 and finally told to stop in the local branch and show them the promotion and they can simply change the code. When I stopped in the South Bend branch and talked with Ms.
Jamie Parker she would have to do some research because she could not change the code as well and returned my call and said I would have to come back in the branch and close my account and re-open with the correct code. When I arrived, I was told it was past the date for the $500 promotion I would not be allowed that promotion even though I had a copy of their website of the $500 promotion with the correct code, and again I opened my account again on 2 27 2019 as required. I do have the information and did have it on hand at the time when I went into the branch and it’s not from a second party the promo code is correct and so is the article and code when I showed Ms. Parker.
I disagreed with her, as it again was not my fault that I had to go through this all over again only to still not qualify for the correct promotional checking account the reason for the first complaint. On 4 29 2019 I received a letter from Julie Miller KeyCorp Executive Offices OH 01 27 568 Ohio License number 127 Public Square, Cleveland, OH 44144-1306 which kept referring to a $300 promotional checking even when all along I had the correct code for the $500 RETQ0119 and offer letter online.
